Step 1: Install Lightroom Mobile

Adobe Lightroom mobile app is available for both iOS and Android. It’s free to download from the App Store or Google Play Store. Once installed, you’ll see a new “Lightroom” icon on your phone.

Step 2: Download DNG files to your phone

Download mobile Lightroom presets to the phone and unzip the file. If you have already downloaded a preset file on your computer, copy the file to your phone.

Step 3: Import DNG files to Lightroom mobile

Open the Adobe Lightroom app on your phone. Choose the “Add Photos” button from the bottom right corner. Next, select the DNG files from your phone, choose the “From Files” or “From Camera Roll” option (depending on where you save the DNG files), and import them to the Lightroom mobile app.

Step 4: Save the DNG files as DNG presets

Save the current settings as a preset so you can quickly load it again later. Open the DNG files, tap the three dots on the top right corner, then select “Create Preset,” the checkboxes determine which settings you want to save with this preset. After completing the settings, tap the checkmark icon in the upper right corner to save the preset. Next, repeat steps 3 and 4 to import the other DNG files. Because every preset has different settings.

Step 5: Use Lightroom Mobile Presets

Go back to your library and open any photo you want to edit. Tap the Presets icon on the bottom of the screen, and you can see all of your presets; then select the preset folder you just created in the library. You can preview the preset’s settings on the thumbnail of each photo. Tap the checkmark button to apply the preset settings to use a preset. All of your edits will be applied to that photo instantly!

Tips – How to Quickly Apply Presets on Lightroom Mobile

  • Open a DNG image in LR mobile.
  • Tap three dots on the top right corner and select “Copy Settings.”
  • Next, return to your library and choose any picture you want to edit.
  • Tap the three dots on the top right corner, then select “Paste Settings.”

This preset will now be applied to that photo right away.
